              Event Description:

              The Texas Department of Transportation (Waco District) will temporarily close the roadway and conduct pavement repair operations on portions of I-14/US 190, south of Copperas Cove, beginning Sunday, April 5, 2020, weather permitting.
              This routine maintenance work will repair pavement sections along I-14 from the Business 190 split, east of Copperas Cove, to the intersection of I-14 and FM 3046, southwest of the city. 

              The work will begin Sunday at 10 p.m. thru 7 a.m. Monday, then continue Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. and is expected to last about one week, weather permitting.  Work is not currently planned for Saturday.   Eastbound and westbound I-14 traffic will detour via Business 190 through Copperas Cove during the overnight hours of the repair operations.  The roadway will reopen by 7 a.m. daily.

              TxDOT cautions motorists to be alert for traffic control along the detour route and at I-14 access points within the work area.
