Copperas Cove, Texas - The Copperas Cove Solid Waste Department is pleased to announce the sale of compost has resumed, while supplies last. Compost is now available at Solid Waste, located at 2605 S FM 116, daily from 8am to 430pm. Customers wishing to purchase may enter the facility, bypass the scale as there is no need to weigh in, and drive around to the backside of the transfer station for loading.

Below are the current rates in the City's fee schedule for compost material:

Bulk (per cubic yard) - Resident, $8.50

Bulk (per cubic yard) - Non-Resident, $17.00

Container (up to 30 gallons), $2.25
