    Narcotics Seizure and Arrests COPPERAS COVE, TEXAS –


    In a coordinated effort, the Copperas Cove Organized Crime Unit and the Bell County Organized Crime Unit, executed a joint operation with assistance from Coryell County Organized Crime Unit, and Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division.

    On March 27, 2024, at approximately 6:49 AM, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 600 block of Mary Street. During the search, law enforcement uncovered an undisclosed amount of currency along with a substantial amount of illicit substances, including: • Over 5,000 grams of mushrooms • 57.13 pounds of marijuana • 41.4 grams of cocaine • Over 4,000 abuse units of LSD • Over 10,000 grams of THC concentrate products Two individuals, identified as 30-year-old Zenyth Charlotte Gale and 44-year-old Celesta Jane Montoya, both residents of Copperas Cove, were apprehended as a result of the search warrant.

    They face multiple charges, including two counts of Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 or 2-a (1 st Degree Felony), Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1a (1st Degree Felony), Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (1st Degree Felony), and Possession of Marijuana (2nd Degree Felony), all within a drug-free zone.

    On March 28, 2024, Zenyth Charlotte Gale and Celesta Jane Montoya were arraigned by Justice of the Peace F.W “Bill” Price and each received a total bond amount of $40,000. The investigation is ongoing and is being led by our Organized Crime Unit. We extend our appreciation to all participating agencies for their collaboration and support. This investigation underscores our commitment to combatting organized crime and safeguarding our community.
